Relics of St Bernadette tour

Relics of St Bernadette will tour English & Welsh Catholic Dioceses between 2nd September and 1st November this year. St Peter’s has been chosen to host the relics between 12.30 & 6.00pm on 5th October.  This offers a special once in a lifetime opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the special gifts and charisms of Lourdes, in our Parish Church.

All venues hosting the relics have a fixed capacity for visitors. To ensure the comfort and safety of pilgrims, visitors are asked by the organisers to consider registering their attendance, choosing a dedicated timeslot at a church or cathedral of their choice. We expect St Peter’s to be busy but not likely to be at capacity. We wouldn’t expect anyone who has not registered to be unable to access the church.

Please note that registration times are a guide only. People across our community will journey in prayer to visit the Relics. While every effort will be made to minimise waiting times, pilgrims may have to queue and are encouraged to include this possibility when planning their visit.

More details and registration for all of the venues nationwide are available by visiting: https://stbernadette.org.uk/
