As many will know, our late Deacon Neil Bailey whilst being extremely busy with and dedicted to his ministry at St Peter’s also worked full time for our local bus company, ‘First Doncaster’. On the morning of 17th August a group of Neil’s former colleagues visited St Peter’s to show us the bus which ‘First’ have dedicated to his memory. Following some words expressing both the Company and his work mates’ appreciation and affection for Neil, Fr Christopher blessed the bus. In keeping with the high regard in which Neil is held, there was a large crowd of parishioners as well as folks from further afield in attendance. Please look out for it on your journeys throughout the district. It will house the plaque shown in the photos. God Bless Deacon Neil.
