The Report covers eleven 'Catholic Church Bodies'. Open the link below and select Hallam Executive Summary for more details

The Diocese of Hallam has achieved an overall grading of Achieving Results, which is a great testament to the hard work carried out in implementing the recommendations from the Pilot Audit that took place in June of 2022, as well as continued work on the Committee's Safeguarding Action Plan.  Our previous grading was 'Early progress'  The Diocese is delighted with the increase in grading.

The Diocese is committed to reviewing the recommendations of the most recent audit and bringing these into our ongoing developmental Action Plan, working with everyone in the Diocese to achieve success in the implementation of further development of safeguarding practice within the Diocese.

With grateful thanks to everyone who plays a role in helping ensure our churches are safe spaces for all and to the support and commitment that you give to the Safeguarding Team.

Safeguarding truly is shared amongst everyone in the Diocese, and when all parts are working together, we move forwards as one body. Everybody's individual contribution provides the backbone to effective practice as a whole Diocese and in this, we strive to be Christ-like, as one body operating in Safeguarding ministry.

The Diocese would welcome any feedback, suggestions and ideas as to how the Diocese can take forward recommended actions to further develop our practice, as your input as key stakeholders in safeguarding ministry is invaluable.
