On 2nd June, during our 10am Mass over forty of our Parish’s children received their First Holy Communion. It was a really wonderful ocassion. The Church was full with regular parishioners as well as many families and friends of the children. After Mass the First Communicants and their families gathered in the Parish Hall for a celebratory lunch. Please pray for all these children and their families.
We say thank you to their catechists, for their tremendous work in preparing the children for this most precious of the Sacraments. Also thank you to St Peter’s U.C.M and friends; who prepared the Hall ready for the luncheon.
I think the most enjoyable Mass I have ever attended was the Easter Vigil on Saturday. It was a beautiful service. Congratulations to Father Darren and Father Declan and all those involved in the organisation. It was lovely to be present for the Baptisms and to welcome the two new parishioners into the Church.
