You now need to book a place for Holy Mass at weekends

HOW TO BOOK YOUR PLACE AT MASS
(Updated 7th July 2020)

In order to maintain Social Distancing we need to limit the numbers coming to each Mass.
To do this, we need most, if not all people, to pre-register/book which weekend Mass they wish to attend (ie . Saturday & Sunday).

Please read the information on this page, and share with those who do not have internet access. Different conditions apply to Masses in Polish -please contact Fr. Daniel for information.

There are three ways you can now attend Holy Mass, and we urge you to choose your day thoughtfully, prayerfully and carefully, keeping in mind that there is currently no Sunday Obligation. Consider attending a Mass at a different time/day to your normal routine eg during the week to avoid disappointment and the need to book.

If you do choose to attend a Weekday Mass,we encourage you to continue live-streaming Sunday Mass if you have been doing so via the YouTube channel. Masses will be streamed at the same times as the public Masses as detailed below.

Please note that the arrangements set out below only refer to Masses in English. To book a place at a Mass in Polish you will have to contact Fr Daniel.

METHOD 1 – BOOK BY EMAIL

The Church email is: doncaster@catholicweb.com

State your full name, the Mass time you wish to attend and whether you will be an individual or couple/household/bubble. Leave your contact telephone number in case we need to contact you.

This will be checked each day between 9am – 11am and 5pm – 7pm.

You will then receive a confirmation email from one of the Priests confirming you have been allocated a space at your requested Mass.

METHOD 2 – BOOK BY PHONE

The number is:  01302 342 068

You can telephone the Parish Office between 9am – 11am and 5pm – 7pm Monday to Friday and speak to one of the priests or staff. You must not leave a voice message in this regard, as booking request calls will not be returned.
All necessary information will be explained to you when you call.

METHOD 3 – TURN UP ON THE DAY

Turn up at the doors of the Church ten minutes before a Mass and hope there will be a seat.
This is at your own risk, and we cannot guarantee you a place using this method.

PLEASE NOTE

You can only book one Mass for yourself (and those in your household/bubble) per week.
This is to allow others the opportunity to attend.

You cannot book more than one Mass at a time, as booking will only be available seven days ahead.

Booking for a particular Mass will close 24 hours beforehand.

Once booked your seat will be kept available for you until 10 minutes before Mass.
If someone is waiting, your seat will be given away.

Your seat will be allocated by a steward when you arrive.

Entry into the church will not be permitted once Mass has begun.

Even if you have pre-registered, you must be well enough to come to Mass, if on the day you feel like you have a cough, a sore throat or a cold, then ring the Parish Office and cancel your place. This will help greatly in keeping track of the numbers.
